The California Energy Tour (CET) brought together students and young energy professionals on a tour through the California Energy sector to visit places pioneering a clean and renewable energy economy from June 15-20, 2009. Participants visited state and local entities, research institutions, private consulting firms, community-based organizations and non-profits to understand how to transform California’s production and consumption of energy. The tour embodied the idea of learn-by-touring, visiting and listening to people who are part of this system in the environments they live in.
